Brom is a Viennese artist from Central Europe's alternative underground scene, playing live at clubs like Fuchs2 and Ankali. For independent musicians, the music video is usually the only way a track reaches anyone who never stood in the audience. Brom came to me with a finished song — and with the question of what that song looks like.

The result is an official music video over the full length of the song, shot in one day in a single location, directed and filmed by me alone. Filmed on a Sony FX3, edited and colour graded in DaVinci Resolve, finished five days after the shoot. Framing, colour and cutting rhythm follow the track — which is why the video works as a film in its own right and just as well as a clip on social media.
