Weingut Migsich in Antau is a third-generation family business, works 20 hectares in the Rosalia DAC and is known for its Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and Rosé. The wine had a reputation. The pictures did not. For the new website, the shop and the social channels there were only phone photos collected over the years. What was needed was one set of images and moving footage that speaks the same language on all three surfaces.
Over two shoot days on location, Rainhard Lehninger and I photographed the winery in every area where it actually happens: portraits of the family who runs the business. Product shots of the bottles that leave the cellar. Buildings, cellar and vineyards that give the wine its place. And the work in between, hands on the vines and in the barrel room. The same two days produced a short brand video, cut for the website and social, in the same look as the photographs.
I delivered 80 edited photographs and one short brand video. Both belong to the winery and work on any surface: website, shop, social, print. A business that has made wine here for three generations now has a visual language that shows exactly that — and a line like "a wine that makes moments better" finally has the pictures and the footage to go with it.
