The Young Violets are the development side of FK Austria Wien and play in the ADMIRAL 2. Liga, the second tier of Austrian football. Youth football has the same problem as every second division: the match takes place, but almost nobody saw it. On 29 September 2025 I stood on the touchline at the Generali-Arena for round 8 against SKU Amstetten and shot the evening so the team would have something afterwards that works on their own channels.
The result was a match highlight video plus four reels for the club's social media channels, shot in a single evening at the Generali-Arena. I filmed on a Sony A7III, edit and colour grading ran in DaVinci Resolve, and everything was delivered 48 hours after the final whistle — still inside the window in which the match is a topic for fans. Goals, duels, chances: cut in the order in which they have an effect, not the order in which they happened.
