One shoot day. One look. Eight videos.

Arsen Chabyan wants to be in Los Angeles in 2028. Until then the ring is not the only thing that decides. Sponsors, the federation and the funding bodies look at an athlete on a phone first, and that material did not exist. The job was to build it in a single day.

I locked the look before the camera rolled: teal and orange, warm skin against cool grey, wide frames with room in them, and one single portrait on black. The daylight in the gym was only the base. The light was built with Amaran fixtures and a lot of negative fill, so the shadows stay closed and the body keeps an edge. No fitness clip, no filter, no effects. An athlete looking for sponsors has to read like a brand, not like a training video.

One shoot day at Boxclub Bounce turned that into eight videos and fifteen photographs: a hero film for sponsor decks and the federation, a hard hype short for reach, three quiet shorts built from one setup each, and three short answers Arsen speaks himself. The voice-over in the hero film is not written, it is cut out of the interview. Read-out lines sound like advertising, and everybody hears it.

No logo at the end, no call to action inside the frame, no nickname on screen. The camera shows the speed. What is left is one set of material in one visual language that carries the channel for months, sits ready for the next sponsor request and still works after a loss.
