A tournament with twelve nations, the biggest German-speaking creators and 2,000 people in the stands happens exactly once — and once the night is over, it only exists as video. The Vienna World Cup took place on 8 February 2026 at Multiversum Schwechat, with Satansbratan, Bossvienna and We Are Wien Oida among the line-up. My job was to record the night so that it keeps running online afterwards — for the creators, for the audience, and for everyone who wasn't in the hall.
I filmed for eight hours with two camera setups, from the opening kick-off to the final whistle. Out of that came an event recap that was online 48 hours after the tournament — inside the window where the creators and their communities are still talking about the night. Shot on a Sony FX3 on a DJI gimbal, edited and colour graded in DaVinci Resolve. Not a cut-down of the match results, but the evening the way it felt in the hall.
